Back to the Lab after COVID-19’s lockdown

The worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 trapped us at home since half of March. We stayed at home with the online paperwork, writing, and polishing the descriptions of experimental work for the supporting information and manuscripts of our future papers. This was also a time for the online didactics of seminars as well as defining the goals for the BSc thesis of Filip, Marek and Nuria, and the MSc thesis of Kasia. It hasn’t been easy for everyone.

However, after almost three months of lockdown, we are finally back to our Lab.
The first days back in the Lab were challenging. After such a long time working only at home, we needed to straighten out our previous experimental work (left so suddenly) and set up all necessary solvents and reagents. What is more, at the same time We were preparing our workspace under all restrictions and safety precautions due to the COVID-19. Our team counts more than a few people to work in Lab at the same time and We needed to schedule our daily plan. We started working in two shifts, i.e. morning and afternoon, allowing above all, the BSc and the MSc Students to finish their experimental work. Fortunately, Our efforts didn’t go to waste and we are about (fingers crossed) to have new Graduates!

Having in mind that the pandemic is still present, We are doing our best to work productively and keep everyone safe.
